Only the most discerning of baseball card critics could lay this 1969 Topps rookie card of Reggie Jackson side by side with the PSA 9 example in this auction and find any appreciable difference between the two. While the centering does slightly favor the lower right endpoint, the amazing sharpness of the corners, two or three of which can make a case for GEM MINT status, along with the clean brightness of the central image pigments and the deep pink-salmon color of the reverse, certainly figure into the advanced grade and no doubt would be determining factors should PSA get a second look and decide to pull the trigger on a half-grade bump.
