Well before his acclaimed achievements as a manager (10 NL pennants and 3 World Series titles), Hall of Famer John McGraw was an accomplished infielder with a .334 lifetime batting average. McGraw is presented on this virtually perfect 1910 E98 card, possessing MINT to GEM MINT features with dead-on side to side centering. Even the clean white reverse has unusually deep, bold brown printing of the set's checklist without the usual color bleed from the front. More precise centering top to bottom might have landed this beauty at the top of the SGC grading scale; it's just that sharp!
