Have you ever looked at a card, and looked at a card, and looked at a card, and after all of that time you know the grade... and can't possibly figure out how in the world the graders at PSA have come to the assessment they have reached? The featured card presents minimally as a NM/MT specimen but I quite honestly would have expected a card that looked like this would have graded NM/MT+ 8.5! Four stellar corners that show absolutely no evidence of wear and come to exact 90 degree angles. Near perfect centering and a surface that shows no pitfalls. The focus is exceptional and images the twenty one year old future Hall Of Fame subject in a perfect contrast against the dark background. The reverse is well printed with a deeply black inked bio set upon a sullen gray stock with no interference. If you want a really nice example of a Ted Williams rookie, here it is!
