Presented is a contract for and signed by San Francisco's Hank Sauer, paying him the sum of one hundred dollars for permission to use his likeness in the 1958 Hires Root Beer series. Framed to a size of 12 3/4" x 13 1/4", the contract is accompanied by a sample of the finished product by Hires.
