In the midst of a home run race to see if the Babe would be dethroned as the single-season home run king (spoiler alert ... he was), the mid-summer classic was played in July of 1961 and this Official American League (Cronin) ball was signed by 25 members of the AL squad, including home run champ Roger Maris. Hall of Famers include Berra, Killebrew, Fox, Kaline, Bunning, and Ford with autographs of Howser, E. Howard, Colavito rounding out the key names. Some of the autographs have faded with time but many, particularly Maris, Berra, Killebrew, Ford, and Howard, are very easy to identify. LOA from JSA.
