Babe Ruth gets a hero's welcome with a banner touting his film "Babe Comes Home" as he arrived in New York to start that 1927 season in this 8" x 10" original type I black and white photo. The International Newsreel stamp and teletype caption appear on the reverse and the photo has extensive wear with various creases, a tear held in place with tape and missing paper at three of the corners, but it's nonetheless an amazing piece of baseball history that should be welcomed in all collections.
