Here's a spectacular 1-cent government postcard signed by the Bambino himself in strong fountain pen, graded NM/MT 8 by PSA/DNA. The signature is large and flowing, measuring 3 inches across, with a cancellation date of October 4, 1935 on the reverse. No advanced autograph collection can be considered complete without a high-end example of Babe Ruth, arguably the greatest player ever to step foot on a diamond, and this cardboard treasure hails from the year he announced his retirement from the game. The verso exhibits signs of scrapbook removal, but the obverse is unaffected. A fine rendition of hobby's most essential signature!
