Penned in bold black fountain tip pen, "To My Pal Andre from Babe Ruth," the presented photo depicts a stunningly sharp black and white original image of the profile "The Sultan of Swat", framed in an oval that measures approximately 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" through the center. The white background shows some light wrinkling and staining from age with a small ear in the paper to the right of Ruth's likeness, but the signature is truly sublime and placed perfectly below Ruth's head.
