A superstar in the Negro League before making the move to the majors, Hall of Famer Monte Irvin makes his final appearance on a Topps card with this 1956 issue. Graded PSA 9 MINT, this card is one of just one of 13 to earn a PSA 9 grade with just 2 graded higher. The corners are legitimately MINT or better, the image color is out of the pack fresh and the centering within a few degrees of perfect. And there's a nice rough cut along the bottom horizontal edge. An elite specimen, to say the least!
