The 1964 Topps set gets knocked a lot for its conservative style but the second-year issue of Pete Rose stands out for its incredible color and uncanny sharpness. This example, his first solo appearance on a Topps card, is extremely sharp and fresh for the grade of PSA 8. The image quality is superb with perfect focus and a bold and accurate registration. The reverse is just as impressive, showing little sign of chipping or other blemishes. A prime example.
