The coveted Lew Alcindor card from the 1969 Topps tall-boy release is presented here and continues to grow in demand with each passing day. Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA, the offered example shows nearly flawless centering with bold, bright colors and an extremely detailed image of the future superstar to be known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, basketball's all-time leading point scorer. It's refreshing to see an Alcindor rookie card that is lacking the stray print marks in the susceptible white frame and blue oval, one of the main reasons the card has been able to achieve such a lofty grade. The corners appear consistently NM/MT, providing tremendous visual appeal throughout.
