Hall of Fame skater Alex Delvecchio is the primary subject of the tendered 1954 Topps hockey card, graded and encapsulated by PSA at the NM/MT 8 level. Topps' first foray into the production of hockey cards yielded a rather condition-sensitive design with a full-bleed edge on both surfaces, highly susceptible to chipping. This example, however, has survived for five and a half decades with very limited instances of handling, and to date, just 6 examples have graded higher.
