Hall of Famer Bart Starr was still seeing limited playing time and his NFL future as a starting quarterback seemed in doubt when he appeared in the 1958 Topps set. But Vince Lombardi transformed the level-headed Starr into a quarterback of epic proportions. This second-year card of Starr has amazingly bold green color, much more pronounced than most examples. The deep pigmentation accentuates the unusually white borders and NM/MT quality endpoints. One of the most stunning examples we've ever seen at this grade level.
