Measuring a tremendous 7 3/4" x 9 1/2", the Butterfinger set consists of 65 black and white, poster-like images of the star players of the day. All you had to do was plunk down a nickel and one of these babies was yours as a point of sale premium. Featured here is a group of six Butterfinger premiums, led by the key to the series Babe Ruth (VG/EX slight tear on top edge). Also included is Lefty Grove (VG/EX), Dizzy Dean (EX/MT), Lefty Gomez (EX), and Earl Averill (EX), with a display premium of Johnny Moore, produced on cardboard stock with advertising print at the top.
