Enigmatic Hall of Fame hurler Satchel Paige is caught mid-windup on this 8 x 10 original type I photo, snapped by noted photographer Louis Requena, who covered the Yankees and the Mets for news agencies and newspapers. Paige is shown in his 1952 Browns uniform and the photo has the usual light to moderate surface wear but it doesn't detract from the sharpness of the classic shot. LOA from PSA/DNA.
