After finding success with the 1959 set that was dedicated entirely to Ted Williams, Fleer issued a 79-card set in 1960 featuring "Baseball Greats," all top players from days gone by plus a card depicting the Splendid Splinter, who was in his final major league season. Cards feature color photos inside blue, green, yellow or red borders designed to look like frames. The key cards are as follows: 3 Ruth EX/MT, 28 Gehrig NM, 42 Cobb NM+ (OC), 62 Wagner EX/MT and 72 Williams Nm/MT. The rest of the set is 15% NM/MT or better, 40% NM, 35% EX/MT, and 10% lower.
