There was no doubt that Mickey Mantle would be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and in 1974, Mantle got the nod along with teammate Whitey Ford. The featured bat is a commemorative issue to celebrate "The Mick's" enshrinement in Cooperstown. The barrel carries a copy of the Hall of Fame plaque dedicated to Mantle, signed in bold blue marker and authenticated with an LOA from PSA/DNA.
