Graded NM/MT+ 8.5 by the authorities at PSA, the offered second-year card of Hall of Fame backstop Johnny Bench offers near-perfect centering with pack-fresh colors and gloss, with smooth, even borders and a clean reverse. An extremely minuscule and insignificant touch to the extreme lower left corner prevents MINT 9 assessment, but this is as close as you'll get without having to pay the loftier price. A solid example worthy of inclusion in any high-grade 1969 Topps set.
