A supplement to the National Police Gazette October 18, 1913 edition, Walter Johnson is presented on a sprawling 11 1/4" x 16 1/4" page that is ready for framing. A tremendous image of "The Big Train" honors his 1913 season when he posted a 36-7 record with a 1.14 ERA, a mark that stands as the fifth-lowest ERA of the 20th century. Some paper missing on the left edge can easily be covered when matted, making this a wonderful display piece.
