Offered here is one of the finest examples of a 1950s Rawlings MM5 Mickey Mantle glove that we have ever encountered. The lacing and webbing are fresh and tight, the leather remains soft and pliable and is not dry or cracked in any form, the manufacturer label on the back strap is bright and clean, while the interior printing including the facsimile signature remains bold and factory-fresh. It's entirely possible that this glove has never been worn, let alone used to play baseball! Put simply, this is as nice as it gets.
