One of the more popular "modern" basketball rookie cards comes from the 1980 Topps set, featuring debut appearances of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson flanking the great Julius Erving. The offered example has been graded NM 7 by PSA but offers many above-grade qualities including colors, corners and centering. Even the two perforations separating the three panels are centered nearly to perfection. No Hall of Fame basketball collection or rookie card collection can be considered complete without a solid example of the Bird/Magic, and with prices increasing at seemingly exponential levels recently, now is the time to snatch one up!
