The 1953 Topps does not have many significant rookie cards, but one of the most important issues in the set is the short-printed, high-numbered Jim Gilliam rookie card. The featured card has been graded SGC 80 EX/NM 6 and exhibits grade-appropriate corners and solid centering. Mild chipping along the black edges is also commensurate with the assessed grade, making it a prime candidate for a mid-level collection.
