Still in the original box and accompanied by the original collector's booklet, presented is a high-quality collection of the original 61 cards from the super-glossy 1950 Callahan Hall of Fame series. Though it carries a 1950 copyright date, the original set featured 58 Hall of Fame players plus the museum exterior, and Mel Ott and Jimmie Foxx, who were not inducted until 1951, calling the actual date of distribution into question. This set is NM to NM/MT overall with a few pushing MINT status and a some slightly lower due to centering concerns.
