Known as "The Tall Tactician" and born Cornelius McGillicuddy, Hall of Famer Connie Mack took over the reins as skipper of the Philadelphia Athletics in 1901 and didn't relinquish the position until 1950, capturing nine American League pennants and five World Series Championships. What makes this single-signed baseball so special, aside from the tremendous sweet spot signature, is that earned it a grade of 8 from PSA/DNA as well as the deep stamping and the overall well-preserved nature of the Reach ball. While there are a few Connie Mack signed balls within the hobby that compare with this one in terms of quality, this is the finest we've seen in terms of both the freshness of the vintage sphere and the vivaciousness of the signature. A true piece of baseball history! LOA from PSA/DNA with a grade of 8 NM/MT for both the autograph and the overall grade.
