Never at a loss for words, Michael Jordan has proven to be every bit the inspirational motivator off the court as when he was winning championships and always seeming to find another gear when the game was on the line. “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career," said Jordan, "I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” Ever since he entered the league in 1984 but especially over the past year, Michael Jordan card collectors have found that their efforts are paying off in a big way financially. One of the absolute rarest of all Michael Jordan cards is this 1998-99 SPX Finite Spectrum #201 Michael Jordan FE, an issue limited to just 25 examples and this one is hand numbered #1/25 on the reverse. Showing multiple images of Mike on the front, both featuring "His Airness" making a move to the rim of course, the card receives an impressive grade of 8.5 NM/MT+ from Beckett.
