Hall of Famer Stanley Coveleski was working 72 hours a week in the coal mines for a nickel an hour at the age of 12, but he managed to find time honing his pitching skills by throwing stones at a tin can from a distance of 50 feet. He has delivered a large, flowing signature in blue fiber tip ink on the offered OAL (MacPhail) ball, which shows modest toning spots but retains bold red stitching and strong stamping. ALOA from JSA.
