A 20-year veteran who played all but his final season with the Chicago Cubs, Charles Leo "Gabby" Hartnett earned the 1935 NL MVP award behind the strength of his .344 batting average. He was also an extremely proficient defensive catcher, widely considered the best the National League had ever seen prior to the arrival of a gentleman by the name of Johnny Bench. He was voted into the Hall of Fame in 1955 after finishing his career with a .297 batting average and 236 home runs. He has delivered his signature on the north panel of this well-preserved baseball which shows little to no age toning and bold, vivid red and blue stitching. Single-signed Hartnett balls don't come up very often, so add this one to your HOF collection while you can. LOA from PSA/DNA.
