The New York Yankees dynasty was certainly taking their share of World Series championships back to New York during the Babe Ruth era, but a team that featured the likes of Jimmie Foxx, Lefty Grove, Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons, Eddie Collins, and of course skipper Connie Mack, was bound to grab a title of their own. The 1930 Philadelphia Athletics made light work of the American League before running the St. Louis Cardinals out in six games and the featured OAL (Barnard) ball contains 19 signatures from that powerful squad.
