The 1958 Topps series does not delve deeply into significant rookie cards, but this one is, or should be, near the top of every vintage collector's want list. Offered is the celebrated rookie card of the history-making Roger Maris, graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. A truly high-end example with corners that appear MINT under magnification, this one displays lively colors and a pack-fresh application of factory gloss, accentuating the incredibly well-focused image of the home run specialist. Centering favors the east just slightly, but overall eye appeal is tremendous, and this card might be deserving of a review.
