Michael Jordan, among other great "rookies" in the 1986 Fleer set, appeared in various sets from Star during and even before the '86 Fleer set was introduced. The offered card is one of Jordan's toughest, a Beckett 9 graded example of MJ from the "Best of the New" subset, perhaps the most rare of Star subsets as only 440 of each card were produced. This exceptional specimen has mostly GEM MINT attributes with a slight shift toward the bottom edge being the only significant obstacle to GEM MINT status. With most of MJ's Fleer cards demanding astronomical prices, the smart money might be in going after Star Jordan cards; produced in much lower numbers that his Fleer cards and now more affordable.
