Often overlooked compared to the Topps issue of the same year, the 1952 Bowman card of Mickey Mantle captures the young "Commence Comet" at the start of his up and coming career. The featured card is graded SGC 7 NM but presents even stronger with the robust central image enveloped by a bright white frame that displays an almost perfectly centered card. Each corner has slight wear that is indicative of a NM to NM+ card and the mild rough-cut vertical edges give it added visual appeal. An extremely nice SGC 7 specimen that will prove quite acceptable to the collector unwilling to meet the financial demand of a higher-graded specimen.
