Like the 1948 Bowman Mikan, the 1958 Topps Russell, and the 1969 Topps Alcindor, this 1961 Fleer card of Wilt Chamberlain introduces a rookie "big man" that would go on to dominate the sport. This is a solid SGC 70 EX+ 5.5 example with NM or better corners that compensate for the usual centering bias, which is apparent but not unsightly. The bold color and sharp image of "The Stilt" is admirable for the grade and the reverse, listing Chamberlain at 7' - 1 1/16" is appealing to the eye. A strong mid-grade example of a key hardcourt pasteboard.
