Produced by American Motors to publicize the television event of the same name, the Home Run Derby issue of 1959 consisted of 20 black-backed cards, with crisp black and white photographs of the biggest sluggers of the day. Offered here is Gil Hodges of the newly relocated Los Angeles Dodgers, graded EX 5 by PSA. Very difficult to find in any grade, just 31 examples of Hodges have ever been submitted to PSA, with only 8 achieving a higher evaluation.
