Brooklyn Dodger fan favorite Jim Gilliam is pictured on the offered 1954 Red Heart Dog Food card, fresh of his Rookie of the Year 1953 campaign. This one bears the grade of NM/MT 8 as determined by PSA, but presents with a level of freshness and overall visual appeal not normally associated with cards of this age. In fact, if the centering placement were just slightly more accurate, this one could be residing in a higher-grade holder.
