Presented is one of the most fearsome defenders of the 1960s on his very difficult 1963 Topps rookie card. This example of Dave "Deacon" Jones comes close to grading MINT with an electric green surface that glides from corner to corner with virtually no evidence of chipping along the colored corners and edges. With a shimmering surface of original gloss and a precise central image, only the centering keeps it from MINT contention.
