An up and coming team that dominated the 1970s, the 1969 Cincinnati Reds won 89 games behind Pete Rose's league-leading .348 batting average and a combined 75 round-trippers from Lee May and Tony Perez. The featured Reds yearbook is from the league's centennial season, signed by Hall of Fame Commissioner Bowie Kuhn and 27 members of the Cincinnati squad, including fellow Cooperstowners Johnny Bench and Tony Perez as well as Pete Rose, Harvey Haddix, Joe Nuxhall, and Chico Ruiz, a very tough signature as he passed in 1972 at just 33 years old. LOA from JSA.
