While he may not have been known as a high-flying, above the rim super-athlete like many of today's superstars, "Pistol" Pete Maravich's ballhandling skills and basketball IQ rival any that have ever played the game. The featured 1970 Topps "tall-boy" rookie card of the basketball Hall of Famer is centered more than adequately for the NM/MT grade, just a few degrees toward the bottom edge, with an abundance of deep green background color and a sharp image of the skilled hoopster who seemed to be able to contort his body at will to score. Each of the four corners meets the qualifications of the NM/MT grade, the bottom two being closer to NM/MT+ to MINT, while the reverse is well-imaged with bold black inked against a peachy orange stock. A quality representation of this popular rookie card.
