One of the most overlooked rookie cards of the 1960s until recently, avid hobbyists are starting to appreciate the importance of the 1969 Topps Reggie Jackson rookie card.
The 1969 Topps release saw the final production card of the great Mickey Mantle, but also introduced the world to the rising star that was the #2 overall pick by the Kansas City Athletics. Offered here is a solid example of Reggie's rookie card, graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. This specimen shows corners and edges that satisfy the standards for the NM/MT designation, with smooth, white borders and no readily visible errant print marks to the naked eye. The reverse shows a profound salmon hue with none of the usual problematic chipping at the edges. A strong pickup for your Hall of Fame rookie card collection.
