As is the case for every set in which he appears, the Hank Aaron card is a key piece and the 1961 Topps series is no exception. "Hammerin' Hank" rarely took a day off, playing in 150 or more contests every season but two (145 games in 1964 and 147 games in 1969) from 1955-70. The featured 1961 Topps card of Aaron is graded PSA 8 NM/MT with corners and edges that are undoubtedly above-grade while the central image boldly captures the star slugger in the prime.
