Then there's the ultimate accomplishment in building the 1956 Topps set, the super set, which includes the first 180 cards in the series with both white and gray backs, and the six team cards counted twice due to the variations, bringing the total to 540 cards, It's important to keep in mind, a super set means there are two cards each, one gray back and one white back, of #5 T. Williams, 10 Spahn, 15 Banks, 20 Kaline, 30 J. Robinson, 31 Aaron, 33 Clemente, 79 Koufax, 101 Campanella, 107 Mathews, 110 Berra, 113 Rizzuto, 130 Mays, 150 Snider, 164 Killebrew, and most importantly, #135 Mickey Mantle. In many cases, the white back variation is considerably more difficult in high-grade, but that's of little consequence since you get them all, well almost all.
