Offered is the rookie card of the man they called "Sweetness" Walter Payton came from humble beginnings and went to Jackson State to become the All-Time leading rusher in the history of the NFL at the time of his retirement! Perfectly centered with four stunning upper-end MINT corners as well as a freshness of subject that is truly second to none. The surface is immersed in a stunning convergence of original gloss which sets the emboldened colors of this pasteboard in a way that is rarely encountered. The reverse is splendidly printed with not a disturbance to be encountered. As good as we have encountered this card in the offered grade!
