This blazer is a MINT specimen from the 1965 Topps series and introduces Hall of Famer and 500-HR club member Eddie Mathews, boasting impeccable focus and registration with amazing contrast between the facial area and the light blue background. The incredible color, outstanding centering, and virtually flawless endpoints could easily have impressed the graders at PSA to dole out only the fifth PSA 10 grade known on another day, but this one ends up at PSA 9.
