It should come as no surprise that card #1 of any series is likely to be condition-sensitive, and with the 1962 Topps set, high-grade specimens are even tougher. Making it even more difficult is that the first card is of Roger Maris, fresh off of his record-setting heroics in 1961. There's inevitably going to be some microscopic chipping at the endpoints, but that's pretty much all you get here, and combined with clean surfaces and expert centering, easily earns the PSA 8 grade. Start your high-grade set off right!
