Though Clay Carroll forged out a solid 15-year career, it's Hall of Famer Phil Niekro that makes this one of the key cards in the 1965 Topps set. This PSA 8 copy appears to have been printed early in an inking cycle, displaying extraordinarily bold green and black color as well as a deeply saturated image of the two featured prospects. The centering is accurate and the corners are true NM/MT.
