Featured is the immortal "Double XX" Jimmy Foxx on his eye-pleasing Diamond Stars pasteboard, issued by the National Chicle Company in 1935 and graded PSA 8. Four strong upper-end NM/MT or better corners are the basis for this grade, but the art-deco image of Foxx as a catcher (he played every position but 2nd base during his career) is enhanced by shades of purple, yellow, orange, and blue. A phenomenal card in prime condition, still way undervalued in our opinion.
