Tris Speaker was such an important figure in the rise of baseball in America that even though he retired in 1928, his stake in the minor league Kansas City Blues gave Goudey an excuse to add the "Grey Eagle" to the 1933 series. The featured card is graded SGC 5 and exhibits the normal touches at the endpoints and a moderate centering shift but still presents well for the grade.
