Of the four major sports, the argument of who is the best ever seems to have a much more cohesive consensus around basketball and Michael Jordan than any of the others, and his 1986 Fleer RC has seen its share of "drama" as an inaugural issue fraught with quality control problems. The PSA 8 level is still attainable for a lot of collectors, and if you're in the market for a particularly appealing one, consider the card featured here. Centering is always the key with this series, and this one is not quite a dead-on 50/50 but it comes really close, showing a barely detectable shift or maybe a degree or two to the left. A fleck or two of chipping can be seen through the loupe around the perimeter but your naked eye would barely notice it, if at all. Add in the superior image and clean surfaces and this example is tough to differential from a MINT example priced at three times as much!
