One of the most widely recognized issues in the expansive T206 collection, the "dark cap" Christy Mathewson card is known for its uncommonly lively blue and green background color. Those eye-commanding colors are so bold and thoroughly saturated that Matty almost appears to be standing beneath a midnight sky. The corners are in line with the VG/EX grade but the centering is better than expected at this level, making this an extremely attractive card for the grade.
