No other card in the T205 series is more recognizable than the issue of Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson. The featured example has some chipping and wear at the endpoints that are commensurate with the VG/EX grade but the image of "The Christian Gentleman" is pleasing and the centering, while slightly toward the southwest, is plenty adequate for the grade level. The reverse is bright with a strong red print that displays his bio as well as a gaudy 3-year performance with a combined 89-26 record from 1908-10. A true vintage masterpiece.
