Free of staining from the caramel-coated popcorn, this example of Hall of Famer Mordecai Brown's 1914 Crack Jack card earns the grade of SGC 40 VG 3. While the assessment is technically correct, the card offers an above-grade perimeter and a clean, strongly pigmented central image and stain-free reverse that you rarely see for the VG level. The centering is shifted, which is usually the case, but a stain-free example graded VG is not the norm.
